We specialise in bespoke new builds and replicas of historic working boats. All boats are made to the customer’s specification and requirements. We offer projects built to any stage of completion, from a shell to a fully fitted narrowboat. Great care is taken, using templates from existing historic craft as well as working from original drawings, to produce faithful replicas.
The new build pictured above was built using templates taken directly from the FMC Motor Boat ‘Roach’, pictured on the right. We used this boat as the template for the build as we felt it was a particularly nice example of the ‘Josher’ bow. Care was taken to reproduce appropriate details for this style of boat such as the raised Breastwood, chequer plate deck lid and T-Stud detail. (See gallery below)
